Welcome to our learning assistant for the vocabulary from Japanese textbook »Genki«. This page envolved from a private project for the language course at Bonn University one of us visited some years ago. It consists of two sections: a dictionary with all words from the Genki books and an interactive practice tool for vocabulary training.
The vocabulary database
This page uses the japanese-english vocabulary list which is part of and used in the Genki textbooks. We do not accept any responsibility or liability for the up-to-dateness, correctness and completeness of the contents of the vocabulary lists. We reserve the right to modify or supplement the information or data provided, without notice.
Within the university's network, a german vocabulary list may also be used by students of Bonn university. For further information, visit the German version of this page.
Privacy policy
This page can be used anonymously, no personal data will be gathered. If you want to save your learning progress, a log-in is required. Currently, we can offer the log-in via facebook only. If you use this, we will get your name and your facebook ID which is used to save your learning progress. Your personal data will not be used for any commercial purpose or sold to a commercial organization. You can delete your personal data at the configuration page anytime.
